With Season 3 starting today, I've decided to simplify the spoiler policy for this forum.
The onus with regards to spoilers will be on those who are not up-to-date to avoid posts that will be clearly labelled as containing potential spoilers, and not on those who are up-to-date in trying to guess what might or might not constitute a spoiler for someone. Outlander presents a special challenge re: spoilers because of the diversity of its audience. Some have read all the books (many times) and are 100% current with the show. - Warn of spoilers in the Subject, e.g. Episode 301 General Discussion *SPOILERS*
- Begin the post with a general disclaimer along the lines of "WARNING: This post and discussion may contain spoilers for anyone who is not current with the Starz series Outlander (including seasons 1 and 2) or who has not read the first three books in the series."
- Put the rest of the entry behind a cut.
- When replying to the post, or to other replies made in the thread, no spoiler warnings or cuts will be required.
