This community exists to discuss anything and everything about Outlander - be it the novels and short stories by Diana Gabaldon (including the Lord John Grey series), or the Starz TV series.
Community guidelines -- short version:
1. Both the novels and the Starz series deal with very adult subject matter, and include (what some might consider) crude language, explicit sexusal activity, and graphic violence (including sexual violence). Consequently, discussions based on either book or show material may also contain such matter without warning.
2. News about the TV series, future books, or cast members (e.g. other projects they might be involved with) is permitted, but please refrain from gossipy/shippy content.
3. This is not a fanworks community. For the moment, no icons, artwork, fanfic, etc. as there are other venues for that sort of material. This may change in the future, but for now, the focus should be on discussing the books and/or series.
4. Spoilers: with regards to the show, please warn of spoilers in the subject line and begin your post with a general disclaimer about spoilers. The rest of the post should be behind a cut. No cuts or spoiler warnings will be required in replies. With regards to NEW books, please warn of spoilers in the subject line and begin your post with a general disclaimer about spoilers. 5. No insults or bashing. Some people like Frank more than Jamie and that is fine. And please refrain from bashing the actors as well.
