outlander_forumTwo key casting announcements from Starz for Outlander's season 4:
Maria Doyle Kennedy will play Jamie's aunt Jocasta, and Ed Speleers takes on the role of nasty Stephen Bonnet.
Both are Downton Abbey alumni -- Kennedy played Mr. Bates' nasty ex-wife Vera, while Speleers played footman Jimmy.
Must say that Kennedy is much younger than I would have envisioned for Jocasta, but the casting has been so bang-on perfect thus far, I'm not concerned. Although, Speleers will have a way to go to get me to shed my impression of him as that nice Jimmy lad...
